taken on the mrt on the way to prom!

today was a tiring day. haha. i took a much fast time to stuff my contact lenses into my eyes though! went to ms yeo's house from 10.30-2.30. when i reached, sipei and shirlynn went with ms yeo to send kiren for swimming. kiri-anne and kiara kept giggling for no reason and i thought they were playing a prank on me! anyway, so i unplugged the fax machine, scanner and printer and installed the new 3-in-1 that ms yeo bought. by that time they came back already. sipei shirlynn worked on the schedules for the kids while i installed sibelius 5 into the laptop and computer! damn cool. tmr i will go back and register and explore it=D.

then we rushed to school and realised that mr sze was waiting for us already. worse still, we couldnt find the key to m4st2. turned out that it was with kimyung who brought with her to viola lesson at upper bukit timah road. so me and mr sze drove down to collect it from her. practice was okay, without ed though. we are playing an extra piece! actually wanted to play more but they were too hard, shirlynn couldnt cope and sipei and ed would die if they were to learn it within within a week and a day respectively. after that we went back to ms yeo's house. did somethings then left. haha.

while we were walking to ms yeo's house sipei said that it has become our 3rd home. haha. leave at 7 and go at 9 everyday. we might as well sleepover and be live-in baby sitters for the kids too. haha. tmr morning going t funan to get new sport shoes, then off to work and maybe a concert. see how things go. =D

yesterday: went for YO rehearsal from 10-12 then rushed to school from 1-3 for quartet practice. edwyna came back on tuesday night and was flying off on wed night so we were lucky to catch her and practice. its sounded weird though. then i had to leave for piano at 4. forgot to bring my scores and dip trinity syllabus not out yet. siann. i cant remember what i did in the night, but i slept very early haha.

today reached school at 8.30. me sipei shirlynn started practicing at 9 but ms yeo only came at 9.45 i think. her daughter took paint and painted the walls and cupboards in the house. and she got the timing for her chitty chitty bang bang booking wrong so was complaining about having to call them up to change the time. she went up to our 'bass room' and said we should rehair all the bows and set all the bridges. the strings are too far from the fingerboard. no wonder whenever we practice on school basses we get blisters. realised this only after four years! man. haha. anyway she heard us and thought it was good hahaha. mr sze heard us too and asked us to add more pieces since we are taking the trouble to bring 4 basses to YMS already. so we should be playing some christmas pieces and some quartet from bass is best book 1. after that we were done and i rushed down to plaza sing. supposed to meet benjamin tiancheng yuze and tedson there but in the end had to walk back to cineleisure to meet them cos plaza sing didnt have the timeslot that was suitable for the movie. we were going to watch ENCHANTED. haha. at first i thought it was quite weird for the guys to want to watch this kind of shows haha. anyway met ben and tc at cine first and waited for yuze and tedson to arrive. we went to long johns to eat then went back for the movie. the movie was good! the song has been stuck in all of our heads haha. highly recommended! after the movie we went back to vch for rehearsal. while they played mendelsshon i talked to jieying jingting and their friend (which is now my new friend) grace! and then hung around with them to eat and change. met my mum to pass her the ticket and saw the nyse people that came at around 7-evelyn, caoyun, shirlynn, huilin, tingwei, and then audrey and kimyung. then concert time! haha.

generally was quite okay. got some wrong bowings though. during the intermission me and jieying went to look for bjorn. hahaha. he got a shock when he saw both of us in concert attire hahaha. got flowers from tianyi shirlynn evelyn! and i got my super super belated present from shirlynn hahaha. after the intermission, strauss and ponchielli was good haha. encore pieces were even better. concert ended on a high note! saw rayner and he recognises me. cool! then went for supper and came home. today was a really fun day=D

tmr. was supposed to go send the thai people off but have to go back for cca. mr sze's listening tmr. so no choice. sigh. so am going to work in the morning yay!=D

this holiday has been really really busy. on friday i went shopping my dress with xy chang-e and her sister. saw a dress that i liked but didnt buy. then went to miss yeo's house with shirlynn to work.saw yuze who came for lesson. and spoilt the paper cutter abit haha. on saturday i went to buy my dress. went for sectionals for YO then had tutti rehearsals. sunday i went to meet shermaine and yufei at kathib and jurong respectively to get my stuff. then i went to ms yeo's house to work till evening. yesterday went for grad night. no photos. haha. today went for cca then YO.

ive practiced on the bass alot! more than i can ever remember. just hope that i will be able to play everything for the concert. the school bass is really painful to play on, maybe cos the strings are newer as compared to those on the YO basses and thus more friction? the YO basses are much nicer though old. and the hardcases are like coffins. haha. so difficult to close! i spent a long time trying to turn all the keys to close it. must take a picture to show sipei shirlynn and ed!



okay.am exhauted. tmr there's YO, cca and piano. great. shall go sleep now.

last week and this week has been quite a busy week. this week lets see hmm. monday i did nothing. i think. practiced piano and bass. oh! and watched romantic princess and 斗牛要不要. =D tuesday i went for cca then piano lesson. ate lunch at coro with sipei shirlynn kimberlyn huilin fiona. was really tired by the time i went home after cca and took a nap till dinner before rushing out for piano lesson. got a stack of magazines from ms boey. the dip syllabus for trinity is still not out so i cant decided on my pieces yet. =( not sure if i should take dip in may. taking it at the end of the year might be a bad idea as it clashes with the eoy exams. wednesday (yesterday) i went out with my mum to toapayoh. today, got my contact lenses! took super long to put it in and take it out. and i could only use one side cos the other one got stuck together. in the end i still had to use specs. went for sectionals for YO. luckily i was okay. ate dinner at the prata place opposite CCAB. havent eaten so much for a long time. but still couldnt finish the chicken briyani. teh tarik was nice though. we were rushing for time cos we only went for dinner at 6.20. luckily we got back before rehearsal started. got my gown. it looks interesting haha.

tmr im going out with chang-e, her sis and xinying to get our dresses for grad night. if we cant find anything, we are dead. my piano teacher lent me a dress, but im hoping to find a better one. and if i have money left after the shopping trip i hope to buy some classical cds. havent listened for a long time.

have been reading abit these few days. i took some time to finish The Historian. its about Dracula. was quite scary and some nights i read till i ran to my bed after i switched off the lights in my room haha. interesting, though, alot of stuff about the Byzantine empire and Ottoman rule. am reading Atlantis now. but its kind of boring. and the writer really piles a load of facts everytime he starts writing them. i have half a mind to chuck it back on the shelf. planning to read Homer's inferno, purgatory and paradise if i can find them, thanks to the influence by marissa and kristie. read up some stuff about it on wiki. looks quite interesting.

my dad has been fetching me to and from places these few days. okay, more than that, esp during the exams. today we were at the hawker centre at chong pang. suddenly realised that he has alot of white hair now. i feel quite sorry for him. wish that we could grow up faster.


primary school gathering on the 12th! cant wait. though i cant stay over as im going to genting the next day. extremely bad timing. finally, im of age to stay over at chalets (according to my mum) but i CANT. sigh. anyway hope alot of people will turn up. yay!

haha. O's are finally over. the papers were generally quite okay. after the bio mcq paper on tues the whole bunch of us went to jurong to bowl. on wed i had high tea with my tuition teacher and classmates and had surprise birthday party for pinyan! haha. i was late so i missed the surprising part. jiale's house is very nice and her older siblings are nice too! they fetched us in and out of the estate. on thursday i was late for YO. i seriously thought rehearsal started at 7.30! felt super paiseh when i went in haha. yesterday was my sister's birthday. we had a bbq and she invited alot of friends over. she even got a crumpler from one of her friends. so cool!

going for YO later. i havent bought my dress for grad night yet. i have so many shows to watch! but seems like i have quite little time. need to practice bass and piano. ahh. piano lesson next week! am dead. haha. hopefully i will find time to blog more. =D
